The January meeting will be held Saturday, January 12th at 9:00 am  at the home of Clyde and Rita Parks.  The Parks live at  6651 S. 19th Place

(19th Pl and Vineyard Rd) in Phoenix, (602-276-2377). 


The program will be computer generated  landscapes.


Please bring your own lawn chairs and bags/buckets for any plants/fish that may be available.





From the north/west: I17 south to 16th St exit; right on 16th St and go south 2 1/2 miles to Vineyard (south of Southern). Turn left (east) to end of road, turn left.


From the northeast: AZ 51 south on to I10 east to Washington/Jefferson Sts. exit.  Right onto Washington 1/2 mile to 16th St.  Turn left and go south 4 1/2 miles to Vineyard. Turn left (east) to end of road, turn left.


From the south/east valley: Superstition west to I10 south exit. Bear right immediately and take the W. Baseline Road exit.  West 4.5 miles to 16th St. Right (north) and go 0.5 miles to Vineyard Rd. Turn right (east and go to end of road, turn left.


The December meeting was held at the Home Depot at Broadway and Val Vista in Mesa.  Quite a few members were in attendance despite the cold weather.  Ken, a home pond hobbyist and Home Depot landscaper consultant, spoke on pond plants suitable for the Phoenix metropolitan area.


A raffle was held for poinsettias, decorative Xmas pines, horsetails and papyrus’.  Winners are listed on page 3.


The meeting was adjourned at 10:30.
